How Can The Democratic Party Be United If Obama Doesnt Choose Hillary As The Vp?

Sad how both the Democratic party and the media treated Hillary Clinton. The Democrats need to support women, and hopefully Obama chooses Hillary as VP. This will create a Democratic Dream Team.

    Obama CANNOT choose Hillary.
People are having a hard enough time with Obama that if he chose Hillary as VP, many will say “everything I hate about the democrats in one convenient package!” and they go down to defeat

Since becoming the presumptive nominee Obama once again is demonstrating why he should not be president. His first step should have been solidifying Hillary’s support for him and resolving any conflict between them. Instead he made the showing at Unity with her and is trying to reitre a part of her debt. Unfortunately there has not been much of Hillary in the spotlight nor has she done much campaigning for him publicly. It is my belief his lack of sensitivity to this matter has split the Democratic Party and I believe even if Hillary was to be the VP not all of her supporters will vote for Obama. Why? I believe Obama’s lack of leadership, lack of ability to unify the Party, and the fact that McCain is ideologically closer to Hillary than Obama all have a part in this. In my personal opinion I believe the Democrats has a candidate that has invigorated the Party but will loose almost as bad as McGovern did 1972. It for these reasons and many more as a Hillary supporter I will be voting McCain.

The majority of the polls state that a Hillary Ticket would do more harm to Obama then a non Hillary Ticket.. The party is already pretty much united, so why would he lessen his standing by putting her on the ticket to appease the few who actually are still holding out. This Hillary crap is old news and you people need to stop and join the party as there is just no way that she will even be considered.
The dem party did nothing to her but hold her to the rules of the party (something she didn’t accept well), the media didn’t do anything either(her own statements is what turned the media).. Her losing was due to her own politics and her own lies.. You can’t boldly lie, make up silly fabriations,or make up false accusations, and be trusted to run the country! Hillary was her own worst enemy…

For Hillary supporters who want to support Mccain:
Mccain that does not support women!
McCain Opposed Equal Pay Bill for Women, Said They ‘Need Education and Training’ Instead. McCain skipped a vote on the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act that would ensure women have the opportunity to recover back pay for discrimination once they discover it. If he had been there to vote, he said he would have voted against it and that women “need education and training” rather than an equal pay bill. The bill addressed a recent Supreme Court decision that said Steelworker Lilly Ledbetter could not recover back pay for 19 years of discrimination at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. because she had not discovered the unequal pay until she retired. The bill would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to allow employees to file charges of pay discrimination within 180 days of the last received paycheck affected by the discrimination. When the republicans chose their SOLE candidate ( McCain), the battle between Hillary & Barak was still going.Th Dems. showed no unity from the start. Both were not the(best choice), and hence the Dems. shattered the “Democratic Dream”, from the outset.4 those who think Hillary ‘d win a debate, I don’t see how she can do it if we take into consideration that she is standing on fragile grounds. When she was in the white House she wasn’t the president, she was the president’s wife. So experience here is debateable.

the democratic party is nothing more than a joke thanks to Howard dean and Nancy pelosi, they are responsible for picking Obama instead of Hillary. and they chose incorrectly because they were blinded by their hatred for her and would rather lose with obama than win with hillary, so give them their wish vote for McCain a better and correct choice////

they ARE united by vision and the need to change the direction the country has been going under the current administration.
did you all expect her to get preferential treatment because she is a woman?
it is an election, she should have been ready for it.
additionally… hillary supporters forget she is as much a politician as any of them, and used the clinton-woman fervor to her benefit.

I agree, Hillary was treated unfairly. I hope she doesn’t accept the VP position, he would just rub her nose in it and he cringes when they even mention her name.
I am voting for McCain but I think that it is despicable how the Dem’s and media treated Hillary, she could have beaten McCain…Obama can’t. c.

That’s a very good question considering she carries 18 million votes in her back pocket. I don’t believe the Dems have a snowballs chance in hell of winning without her on the ticket, and that won’t happen.
Obamas ego won’t allow him to pick her as VP.

They can unite behind a common message. They don’t need Hillary to be the vp to get behind the Democratic platform.

I’m a Hillary supporter, but I wouldn’t vote for that ticket. It’s an insult to Hillary, when she is so much more capable than Obama.

Crom says Obama will not pick Clinton because he feels he is entitled to the presidency and knows more about what a woman want more than actual woman.

  13. Posted by wrathofw on February 27th, 2010 at 7:39 pm

The Dem’s need to quit worrying about Hillary and get on with the campaign. The Clintons are the 1990’s and we are in 2008.

How can it be united with Obama in there at all.

  17. Posted by Social Justice on February 28th, 2010 at 6:42 am

She should join McCain’s ticket. It’s her best shot at becoming president one day.

because hillary’s husband made so many racial comments there would be bad blood.

what if she does not want it ? she has a better audience as a senator.
