I don’t think it’s divisive . . . they’ve had the same set-up for years. Reference Mondale/Hart . . . a nomination won by super delegates . . . where were all the cry babies then?
They provide stability. LOL
What they do is keep the people with a vested interest, in control. Seems sensible.
I think they used to call it intelligentsia.
If Obama has the most votes, the super delegates SHOULD go to him, but if they dont then there will be a collapse of the DNC. Lets hope so.
…well…there is some tension…
I am more concerned about the Republican party (on the other hand—with the split between evangical supporters of Huckabee and moderate Republicans supporting McCain) than I am with the Democratic party.
A political party can’t have a civil war. A COUNTRY has a civil war.
I don’t mind people slamming my party, but I do sort of insist they be intelligent insults…
I’d buy Pay-Per-View to watch that!
the rest of us can “only but hope”….
A civil war is a bit over the top but at this point it seems the party is divided over the 2 candidates.
For me, I think hillary is a better candidate than obama to get the country out of this mess.
