What will democrats do with no republicans to blame for their actions?

For 8 years they have been blaming Bush for things he clearly had no control over. We all know that congress has much more power than the president in terms of the economy. The democrats voted for the war in Iraq. They are more responsible than Bush for the current state of america, but they had Bush to blame.

Now what? OMG! They can’t blame Obama. What will they do?

well, they blame Bush – why change a perfect recipe? ?

every single thing obama backspins on he can blame on Bush

He cant release the prisoners in Gitmo – because of bush

he cant raise taxes, because of the economy because of Bush

he cant exit Iraq because of Bush

And his supporters will buy it all

    Why can’t we blame Obama?

    He’s President now. If he’s responsible… he’s held responsible.

Do you know anything about how the government works? Just because the new president will be democratic doesn’t mean that every decision made by every government official will be democratic.

Here’s a tip: Learn politics before asking stupid questions.

they will still find a way with the liberal media to somehow not make it obama’s fault. The media call it obama’s team so if he screws up big time, which he will, they can blame it on his “team” and not obama. they’ll also try to find a republican scapegoat just like they did to bush

  19. Posted by ritchwilliams on March 8th, 2010 at 6:33 pm

LOL, oh, they’ll still blame Republicans. Did you really think they wouldn’t?

still blame Bush saying he set everything in motion. I LOVE how they say they’ll take responsibility unlike the republicans but they love to blatantly ignore the fact that we had a completely democratic congress but still solely blamed it on Bush. LOL

Oh dear. If you want a lesson in denial everyone read American Patriot’s rant.

Republicans had control of the house and the senate for 6 of the 8 years Bush was in office. He had alot of control, he had veto power. For the last two, democrats had a very slim majority, so in reality their control was very limited if the republicans chose to filibuster anything the democrats put up for a vote, which I believe they did alot. So, if its okay with you, I will put the majority of the blame for the last 8 years sqaurely on the shoulder’s of George Bush and the republicans. Nice try though.

I blame whoever is responsible. Not blindly following anyone. If Obama and his administration mess up, i will blame them for it. I notice many republicans don’t want to accept responsibility for their mistakes. They also tend to be very religious which goes hand and hand with blind belief.

  23. Posted by OhWell (Kiss my cute furry feet) on March 8th, 2010 at 7:35 pm

Take responsibility, endeavor to clean up after Bush, and of course simply do better! Having an actual MAN in office will be hard for some people to take.

  24. Posted by Highroller on March 8th, 2010 at 8:05 pm

They will say it was the Bush admins fault. That they did so many bad things this is what they have been forced to do. It is the democrats way of life. Blame others first and then step out of the spot light when you can’t blame anyone else.

LETS SPEND SOME MONEY AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE IS YOUR NEW PRESIDENT….THE GOOD LORD KNOWS I DIDN’T VOTE FOR HIM.

  25. Posted by ?you + Hamsters! on March 8th, 2010 at 8:35 pm

    Good point.

People have to realize that Bush was put through A LOT. He did not make the best decisions. He was not the best president, by far. But he kept us SAFE. After 9/11, there were no more terrorist attacks, although threats arrive to the government everyday. You have to have some respect for him, he was our President. It isn’t right to treat him like a piece of shit when it could have been way, way worse. I’m not dead, and neither are you.

OH, and regarding your question, Democrats will still blame Republicans. And Democrats will still blame Bush. Issues 50 years ahead will be George Bush’s fault. And Republicans blame Democrats. You blamed Democrats for the war, they blamed us, it’s all a cycle of blame.

I am not saying you are wrong, but there is more then one way to look at it.

  26. Posted by Omaha on March 8th, 2010 at 8:39 pm

The Republicans in the Senate can still filibuster bills. And the Democrats don’t have enough votes to override a Republican filibuster.

Please stay out of this section until you learn how our government works.

  27. Posted by LittleBit on March 8th, 2010 at 9:22 pm

accept the responsibility unlike the republicans who just rant (like this question of course, making invalid points about democrats faulting more than Bush when u KNOW it isn’t true) and also Democrats will applaud the fact that we will make more careful decisions than the republicans, even if sometimes they don’t come through like the way we want them to because nothing comes perfect. now shut up

  28. Posted by Brenda Tea on March 8th, 2010 at 9:36 pm

They may find a true conservative in Congress or the Senate to bash but they’ll have to really look hard to find one. For the next few days the democrats will be floating in Euphoria Land now that their dreams have all come true so they won’t miss Bush for awhile.
