Why Are Democrats The Least Likely Poltical Group To Believe In The Constitution?

The result of the national telephone poll shows nearly two-thirds of voters, 64 percent, say U.S. Supreme Court decisions should be based on what is written in the Constitution. Rasmussen found that view regardless of party affiliation, with 79% of Republicans, 64% of unaffiliated voters and 52% of Democrats agreeing.

    Most democrats have no idea what the Constitution or the Bill of Rights stands for, or says. How can you believe in something you are ignorant of?

    Surveys can be skewed depending on how the question is asked. It’s Republicans who showed no respect for the Constitution over the last 8 years–for example, illegal wiretaps, indefinite detention without due process.

    Believe whatever fantasy you wish to believe in . The constitution is still the Supreme law of the land . I hang up on poll takers . I never believe them .

    Assuming that the study is accurate…
    I’d have to say because they are more liberal and desire our country to change (better or worse–arguable) and be more accepting of everybody. ;)
    Ya, thumbs down from Republicans, lol!
    I actually don’t associate myself with any particular party; I just vote for whoever I feel will lead this country best. Whether that person is Democrat OR Republican.
